T.I.G. CHALLENGE!
Basic Focus
"The Beef..."
Welcome to OUR official gym challenge!
We wanted to create something fun that was modeled after the existing Play! Pokemon program that adds to the experience, and will hopefully provide a smooth transition in the future.
Here's the structure:
1. Weekly, you'll complete activities on the #gym_challenges page to earn points.
2. We'll track those points on the #"Gym Roster/Members"page, and the top (100) scoring members are entered into the weekly gym prize drawing; occurs Sundays between 7-9pm.
3. Cumulative points are tracked quarterly and the top (26) scoring members are entered into the:
★"Quartermaster's Cup!"-
"A competition involving ALL 3 official league platforms; where qualified players will compete in a meticulously designed e-tournament for a chance at the title of GYM QUARTERMASTER!
***The Quartermaster Cup's PRIZES includes:
•1st place:
-The Immersion Gym's Quartermaster T-Shirt!
-A $25 gift card to use for either the Nintendo estore, PokemonGo coins, or booster packs!
-Listed for the quarter as the "Quartermaster" on ALL associated pages & sites; also listed as part of the Quarterly Elite 4 for the world to see!
-1 of 4 spots in the "Annual Contender's Competition"!
•2nd-4th place:
-Listed for the quarter as part of the Quarterly Elite 4 on ALL associated pages & sites for the world to see!
***Points & title social/website listings are reset quarterly.
***Those who aren't of this skill level quite yet, your track ends here each quarter, but we'll always have the WEEKLY challenges to earn entry into the randomized drawings forfree prizes.
4. Each quarter's master earns entry into the: ★"Annual Contender's Competition!"-
"A LIVE annual 4 slot etournament held the last Saturday of each January. A competition involving ELITE players looking to be crowned the annual CHAMPION!"
***The Contender's Competition PRIZES include:
•All 4 participants will receive:
-OUR (custom) GYM (metal) BADGE!
-T.I.G.'s ELITE 4 T-shirt!
-Listed EVERYWHERE as our ELITE 4, plain out, for the YEAR! (There's quarterly elite 4 and THE Elite 4.)
-10 Booster Packs!
•The WINNER receives:
-The gym's TOP CONTENDER title for the year!
-T.I.G.'s TOP CONTENDER hat!
-20 Booster Packs!
-Entry into the ANNUAL CHAMPIONSHIP!
5. Occuring the last Sunday of each January is the:
★The Annual Championship!-
"TOP CONTENDER! VS. GYM CHAMPION! A 9 round battle where the top contender must beat the current gym champion in 2/3 battles in POKEMON GO, TCG LIVE, AND (the current 1v1) VGC!"
***The CHAMPION'S PRIZE includes:
★Annual Gym Champion Title! (BLASTED!)
★The Champion's Ring! (Actual ring)
★4 extra entries into the weekly prize pool!†
★Automatic entry into our Annual Championship!‡
***The loser of the annual championship will receive 2 extra entries into the weekly prize pool as a consolation prize.†
†The extra entries are per 100 members giving the champion a 5% total, and the contender a 2% total chance to win; comparative to most members 1% chance.
‡The annual champion cannot compete in the Quartermaster's Cup nor the Contender's Competition, for they are the defending champion, not a contender. Their year/participation will be as a guide to the other members, becoming admin for the year. The champion has an increased chance to win weekly prizes to make up for that fact. The defending champion that wins will receive the annual champion's prize and regular extra entries per 100 members, not double. The defending champion that loses to the contender is awarded the consolation prize and is able to fully compete as a potential contender again.
BASICALLY...
The Immersion Gym Challenges are weekly "assignment/activity lists" that you can complete to earn points. The activities are designed to strengthen our and the Pokémon community, as well as your trainer/gamer and communication skills.
There will be weekly, monthly, and quarterly prizes awarded to the highest scoring members; ties for single prizes will be determined by battle or random drawings, depending on the situation.
There is no costs here, no "donations", zero money grabs, and the prizes are coming from the gym's collection not from the Pokemon Company.
It's just free, voluntary, inclusive fun to win Pokemon, cards, or other prizes.
Gym challenge activities are only available to enrolled gym members and can only be completed/uploaded from 7-9pm. (Many you'll be able to do whenever you want, but can only upload for credit/points during league hours!)
